Star Wars Collector’s Database

September 30, 2009
Inventory Your Collection At Home Or Online!
The collection inventory software has been at a very stable version 2.10b for close to 2 years now. Last Fall we announced a new version 3 coming out “soon”. Well, 9 months later version 3 is still at the ‘almost finished’ phase. It was put on hold while we developed a (much requested) online version!
The beta copies of WishBase version 3 communicate with the online database, allowing you to synchronize your online listings with those on your local system.

If you’re not already a database user, you can begin using the online version with full confidence that once version 3 is released, your collection files will transfer back just as easily.

A new feature of the system is the ability to make your ‘wanted’ and ‘for sale’ listings viewable by the public! The online report generator is just as robust as the highly acclaimed reports developed for version 2.1.

The database has over 61,000 pre-defined entries (Category, Manufacturer, Country, Group, Name, Detail, Variation, Part Number, UPC, ISBN, etc.) and all you have to do is pick your item and link it to your list! Imagine all the typing you’ll save!

WishBase (the database) has been updated bi-monthly since 2003, keeping pace with the collecting community entry-by-entry.

Sabritas Clone Wars Card Game

September 30, 2009
Clone Wars Heats Up Mexico With Sabritas Game card Premiums

In early 2009 Sabritas began a campaign where they inserted a random card from a 90-card set into specially marked bags of snacks. With so many cards scattered amongst food products the task to acquire a complete set was daunting to say the least. Whether you bought up hundreds of food packets or laid out the cash for an already completed set, this one was bound to cost you.

If you’re looking for a visual checklist for the set, you’ve landed at the right place.

Star Wars card collectors have come to expect a good chase when putting together sets of premium cards. “Premium” in this instance means both a pack-in with another product and a high quality set of cards. These 90 cards can definitely be considered premium in production design!

The intent of the set is to play battle games with opponents going head to head. The different elements incorporated into the subsets make collectors salivate.

The complete checklist of cards is below. To see images of the set, click here to go the Sabritas features page.
